Dry Area on the Leaf Blades Around the Feeding Point & Inter-Veinal Chlorosis

1. Leaf hoppers feed on the underside of leaves.
2. Injury usually starts with Chlorotic areas developing around the feeding points and a slight rolling of the leave edges. Generally, the symptoms are known as hopperburn.
3. Leaves may curl downwards and finally fall off. This leads to stunted plant growth and may reduce fruit yield.

 Management : Cultural control: -

1. Collection and destruction of the infected plant parts.
2. Use yellow/blue sticky traps.
