Cause: Damping off / Collar Rot
Symptoms detailing
- The fungus causes pre-emergence and post emergence damping off.
- In post-emergence damping off, collar region near soil level is infected leading the rotting of tissues and death of seedlings.
Management
Cultural:
1.Collect and destroy infected plant debris.
Biological:
- Drenching of Trichodermaviride@5g/L
- Drenching of Recover Nutri @75-100gm/Acre + Geomycin @75-100gm/Acre.
