Damping off of the Seedling/Plants from Collar Region

Cause: Damping off / Collar Rot

Symptoms detailing
  1. The fungus causes pre-emergence and post emergence damping off.
  2. In post-emergence damping off, collar region near soil level is infected leading the rotting of tissues and death of seedlings.

Management

Cultural:

1.Collect and destroy infected plant debris.

 Biological: 

  1. Drenching of Trichodermaviride@5g/L
  2. Drenching of Recover Nutri @75-100gm/Acre + Geomycin @75-100gm/Acre.
