Brown Pustules Occurs on Under Surface of Leaves

1. Infection occurs on the leaves. The first observable symptoms are small, pale yellow spots on the upper surface of the leaves.
2. As these spots gradually increase in diameter, mass of orange uredospores appear on the undersurface.
3. The fungus sporulates through the stomata or breaking through the epidermis.
4. The powdery lesions on the underside of the leaves can be orange-yellow to red-orange in color, and this colour expression has considerable variation from one region to another.

Management

Cultural:

1. Select rust-resistant plant varieties.
2. Pick off and destroy infected leaves.

1. Spraying of Recover Nutri @0.5gm/L + Geomycin @0.5gm/L
2. Spraying of Pseudomonas fluorescens +Bacillus subtilis @5g/L
